Checking In Checking Out – 48 Hour Film Challenge
A master piece is created!
This was knocked together just a few weeks ago as a part of the 48 hour film challenge, under the direction one of our number, Jess Speller. I pitched in with providing my Red Dragon and the sound equipment, kindly though I’m credited with DoP though Sam Qusai did most of the filming.
Thought the performances from all the cast were amazing Lizzie Peters, Hilary Davis and Emily Carpenter not to mention Alan who kindly allowed the film to be made in his house (much to the chargin of his missus!) in return for being killed.
Little fun black comedy about 3 girls going to an AirBNB and accidentally killing the host (c’mon we’ve all wanted to in the past haven’t we?!)
Would recommend doing the 48 hour film challenge to anyone. There’s a great immediacy to it, with the result appearing so quickly and it’s such a good way to meet new people for the future films – better than CVs or networking events – you find out there and then if they’re all bullshit.
Nice working with Jess too, she’ll be writing one or two of the Seven Tales of Deadly Sins scripts and also directing.
